Rakesh, Naina and Sameer pace worriedly. Rakesh finds it wrong on NIrmala ji’s part. We cannot break realtion with Preeti. She is our daughter. What if Gopal does the same for Tanvi? I will speak to Anand. Naina requests him against it. things have already aggravated a lot. Let’s not stretch the matter. He does not agree but she tells him that they will find a way around it. Rakesh says she should have respected all that you ahve done for her family. I told you to focus on your profession and home. this is how society breaks people. Naina says you saw how Aditya and Tanvi wanted to honour their friendship but we left from there on our own. Rakesh says what will I say to Anand. I am unable to do anything! Naina goes to the kitchen. Preeti waves at her but it turns out to be Naina’s
Voiceover – Naina:
Have you ever imagined the top of a mountain while climbing it? How bad does it feel when it is very near but you suddenly slip down to the bottom? I felt 100 times worst when we were separated from the society members. Everyone was happy but Nirmala aunty pushed us away from everyone at that very moment!
Sameer comes to kitchen. Naina asks him if they really did something wrong. He denies. We will pass with flying colours just like we have done it in the past. Naina says you know that Preeti and I have never fought with each other for even an hour. How would we stay away from each other for so many days? She cries. Sameer holds her. Doorbell rings. It is Gadkari family. Aditya asks Sameer and Naina to come with them but Sameer denies. Aunty ji will feel bad. Aditya says I will feel bad if you wont come. Vidaai function is over. I have come to call you for Grahpravesh. I wont move from here if you say no. Gopal and Gauri request Rakesh to convince Naina and Sameer or you can let Aditya and Tanvi also stay with you.
Gadkari family, Sameer, Naina and Rakesh do Tanvi’s grahpravesh. Sejal and Naina take a gift from Gauri.
Voiceover – Naina:
Both the sisters had a different story / bond. We spoke a different tongue but there always is a villain in the story. Nirmala aunty was the villain of our story.
Naina and Preeti try to talk to each other many times but Nirmala ji does not let it happen even once.
Naina is lost in thoughts. Sameer asks her to tell the next plot. She says I have decided a scene of two sisters. It will be a very emotional scene. She feels dizzy while talking and eventually Naina passes out in Sameer’s lap. He panics.
Doc checks Naina. She informs Sameer that Naina is pregnant. Sameer tells her to check again. This happened in the past too but it was acidity. She insists that Naina is 100% pregnant. Sameer thanks her. Doc takes their leave. Sameer hugs Naina. Aren’t you happy? She shakes her head. I am very happy. He asks her why she is crying. She shares that she thought of Preeti the moment she heard this news. I have told her every good news since childhood. I wont be able to tell this to her today. He assures her that he will tell Preeti this news at any cost. He reminds her how they used to talk to each other on school days.
Sameer calls at Preeti’s house and speaks to Nirmala ji in a lady’s tone. Can I speak to Preeti? Nirmala ji gets suspicious hearing his voice but Sameer convinces her with his lies. Preeti takes the phone. Nirmala ji goes inside. Sameer gives the phone to Naina. Her eyes well up. Even Preeti turns emotional. You aren’t saying anything yet it feels as if you are saying so much. It feels as if we are talking after ages. Naina says you will be thrilled after hearing this good news. Preeti asks her if she got another serial. Naina tells her that she is pregnant. She turns normal seeing Nirmala ji returning to the room. Preeti congratulates Naina and Sameer. Naina asks her if she will come to the window at night. Preeti agrees. Naina thanks Sameer who smiles sweetly at her. Nirmala ji asks Preeti about her Mami. Why did she call? Preeti cooks up more lies. Her daughter’s wedding got fixed. Nirmala ji says we will have to go to Jodhpur for the wedding now. Preeti denies. She said she will come over to Mumbai after her daughter’s wedding. The expenses will be too much to bear. Nirmala ji nods. Tell your relatives not to come here. Preeti nods. Nirmala ji goes inside. Preeti jumps with joy.
Naina and Sameer are in their balcony. Preeti looks at them from her kitchen window and calls Naina. It is great news. I was smiling throughout the day! I wanted to dance too but Mummy ji is at home. Naina tells her to dance now. No one is watching. Preeti gets emotional. Naina touches her belly. Sameer smiles. Naina says I dint tell Papa yet. I wanted you to be the first one to know. Preeti suggests her to tell everyone and keep a party. Naina replies that party cannot happen without her. Both of them turn emotional. Sameer tells her not to cry from today onwards as it affects the baby too. Preeti seconds Sameer. Don’t worry about me. I am sure this baby will unite us. Naina hopes for the same. Bless us lord that everything is fine. Preeti says Tathastu to her. Naina calls her mad. Preeti ends the call and waves at Naina.
Nirmala ji asks Preeti if she was talking to her sister. Preeti denies. Nirmala ji refuses to accept it. Preeti lies that she was talking to her mother. Nirmala ji says I will also talk to her. Give me the phone. Preeti admits that she was talking to Naina only. Nirmala ji repeats her warning to Preeti. Shubham tells her to respect his mother’s words atleast. Preeti shares that Naina is pregnant. She might need me so I was talking to her. Nirmala ji tells her to stay with Naina then. Shubham assures her he will talk to Preeti.
Voiceover – Naina:
Some people knew how to get out of all the obstacles. Preeti knew how to manage the situation against all odds. She wasn’t going to leave the house and neither was she going to leave my side. She had to think of a way to make sure that Nirmala ji allows her to be with me on her own.
Sameer and Naina share the good news with Rakesh who turns emotional and silent for a while. He says thank you to them. You both gave me so much happiness. I became Papa, FIL and now grandfather. You both have made this poor man very rich because of relations. He wipes his tears. Epi ends on Naina’s face.
