Two more ladies come at the boutique. They ask Sameer if a tailor is also available. It will be better if all the things happen at once place. Sameer nods. The tailor is on leave tomorrow. You can come tomorrow and please inform everyone else too. The ladies nod. Kanji asks Sameer why he is always hot headed when both Sameer and Naina drink so many cold drinks daily. Sameer asks him if he wants at answer. Kanji makes a straight face.
Sameer asks Naina to eat food but she tells him she is sleepy. Sameer tells Naina he wont eat till the time she will not eat. I am as stubborn as you Mrs. Maheshwari. I am hungry. She asks him if she should dance. He refuses to budge till the time she eats. She switches off lights and lies down telling him to stay put. Sameer does not shift from his place
Voiceover – Sameer:
That day I stood on the same place for 2 hours 17 minutes and some seconds! Naina never played statue with me after that day as she had very high chances of losing!
Naina wakes up in the middle of the night and finds his side of bed empty. She switches on the lights immediately. You are still standing? He nods. You only told me to stay put. She asks him if he is mad. He says following what your wife says isn’t madness. She keeps the plate down and hugs him. He tells her he is very hungry. She makes him sit down next to her and feeds him food with her own hands. Thoda Hai song plays in the background. He feeds her too and ends up bringing a smile on her face. I shouldn’t have shouted on you. I am sorry. She says even I shouldn’t have been angry with you. He denies. I should have understood that you are doing everything for the sake of boutique. She says I felt like hitting myself for not even asking you for dinner. They head downstairs as they need more food. Naina gets another idea. He thinks that she wants them to sleep under the stars again but she points out that it is time to make rules to end fights. One, we may fight as much as we want to but we must apologize to each other within an hour. Two, we wont take our fight to our bed. Three, we wont take it out on food ever. Four, if the first three rules don’t work then we will use ice cream. It fixes anything in a second!
Voiceover – Sameer:
Naina and I weren’t alone that day. We had love, hope and support of each other. All that we wanted was a chance to change everything for good!
Sameer holds Naina and dances sweetly with her. They sit down to talk holding each other close. Sameer falls asleep while Naina is talking to him. She sweetly caresses his hair.
The lady tells Anand and Bela that Nirmala never believes on what she hears. She may be from Bombay but she is pretty orthodox. She adheres to society and rules very much. Her kids are just like her. They never say no to her. She can find out everything about someone by looking at anyone’s face. Preeti wonders if she is getting a DIL or a dictator. The lady says Nirmala’s husband passed away 5 years ago. Her hopes will be pined on Shubham and his wife. Bela assures her that Preeti has good upbringing. The lady points at Bela only. You dint keep your relations with your family only. What if Preeti follows your footsteps? She is your daughter after all. Anand tells her not to think like that. Tell Nirmala ji not to worry about anything or be afraid. The lady replies that Nirmala is only afraid of God. Bela notices Preeti coming out of kitchen but blocks her way. Preeti does not want anyone to speak badly to or about her parents in front of anyone. Nirmala and her husband get up to go refusing to hear anything further from Anand. Rakesh says Nirmala ji will listen to me. Everyone is surprised to see him there.
Voiceover – Sameer:
For a very long time, whenever Naina used to see blue paint she used to remind me that I was wrong and she was right. Back then, posters and boards were painted by us only. If it wa sup to her, she would have written it herself that Naina is always right.
Sameer writes a about the tailor on Samaina’s board. Naina and Sameer hug. He smiles looking at the paintbrush.
Rakesh introduces himself to the guests. He gives Anand some letters and stuff that old guests have given for him. He asks the guests to sit down for a few minutes. They comply.
Anand asks Bela to bring coffee. Rakesh draws a digit (6 / 9) in a notepad. He asks the lady what she can see. She says it is 6. He says from my angle it is 9. Different people have different perspectives about one common thing. My brother is very innocent. He is unaware of how things work in society but he is the best in when it comes to relations. He is the youngest one but he has been better than me and Bhaisahab. Who raises his niece way better than his own daughter; raises her with great ideals and marries her with pomp and show these days? Please don’t misunderstand him.
Voiceover – Sameer:
At that time, Preeti’s future was also on a rollercoaster ride like Naina and me. That was very important and Naina and my future was associated with it. You will very soon find out how!
Sameer, Pundit and Kanji are cracking jokes when a lady comes to the boutique. Sameer sells her a dress. She asks him if it can be altered by tomorrow. Sameer tries to postpone it but she decides to buy it later. Sameer offers to take her measurements himself. She is hesitant initially but then agrees.
Voiceover – Sameer:
There was full confidence on my face but I was encouraging myself in my heart.
Sameer hesitantly takes the measurements of the lady and notes it down in a notepad. He is maintaining good distance while doing so. The lady leaves with a smile. Sameer heaves a sigh of relief as she goes.
Precap: Pundit tells Naina that the boutique is going great especially when it comes to measurements. She asks about Sameer and he points at upstairs. She notices Sameer taking measurements of a girl and glares in his direction.
