Naina is sneezing badly. Sameer brings coconut water. She asks him if he just got one. He replies that they have to share it. What’s mine is yours and vice versa. She sneezes as he comes closer for a romantic moment. She complains that he brought her to a hill station after all. She buys a shawl. He makes her remove her sweater but she sneezes again. He gets upset. She tells him that she catches cold fast. You make me remove sweater again and again for photos. He complains that she is the weakest one in the entire world. They pose again for photos but she sneezes. He gets upset. I don’t want to get photo clicked. She asks him what his problem is. I am not wasting any money. He rues that she is wasting so many other things which she isn’t noticing. She tries to make him understand
Voiceover – Sameer:
It is said that you should wait a little when someone sneezes. Things were opposite that day. Sameer ran away from me the moment I sneeze!
Jiggy argues with manager as the clothes fell over them from the balcony. Dimpy tells him to find out who has hung clothes like this in a 5 star hotel. Sameer murmurs that people come to 5 star hotel not realising that clothes are given in laundry here. Don’t know who would have done that! Flashback shows Naina calling Bela to inform her that she has washed all the clothes. I will hang them in balcony. She does not tell it to Sameer. Sameer notices someone in the clothes and recognizes it. These are our clothes right? Naina looks down. Manager asks the servant to throw these clothes away. We will find out who hung it when they will come to pick it. Naina wants to pick them up but Sameer wants to hide it from everyone. Doesn’t matter what they do to it! We will be insulted for not having etiquettes of coming to a 5 star hotel. I wont be able to bear it! Naina suddenly shouts and admits that these are their clothes. Everyone looks at her. Manager stops Sameer. I want to talk to you about something!
Naina ask Sameer if Manager said something extra to him. Sameer says he asked us to leave. I somehow begged him to let us stay here. I also beg you not to do anything like this again. Why did you have to wash clothes? She says Chachi ji told me to wash them. He says you just do whatever she tells you to. I told you to keep quiet. Why did you say anything? She says they were new clothes. They were worth thousands. He doesn’t want to be embarrassed but she speaks of valuing money. He gets angry. I don’t want to talk to you. She says the same and sits in another corner.
Voiceover – Naina:
Whenever I think of that day, I only think of one song – Chal Dhobhighaat Hungama Karenge!
Voiceover – Sameer:
Everything happened on our honeymoon except honeymoon!
Naina calls Sameer Uncle ji. Are you done scolding me or you want to scold me more? I admit I made a mistake. Why do you have to fuss over it? He says this is how I am. She holds her ears and tries to pacify him. He switches on TV to ignore her but she keeps apologizing and trying in between her sneezes. He ends up smiling eventually. She hugs him. He hugs her back. Her sneeze foils his another attempt to steal a kiss.
Sameer comes to his room with a bottle of alcohol. It is the solution to your cold. She asks him why he needs it. What did I do that you need alcohol? He tells her it is for her. She panics. I dint do anything wrong for which I will have to drink it. It is a bad thing. He tries to make her understand but she keeps talking. He tells her Brandy isn’t alcohol. Your cold will go away in minutes. Try it once. She denies. It is alcohol. He tells her to trust it. She says I have seen it in films. It is alcohol. He tells her that it is a medicine which relieves one of cold and instils romance. Naina imagines her family members scolding her for drinking alcohol. Waiter serves them coffee.
Voiceover – Naina:
Did you see what a dilemma the girl of 1990’s was in? If I had sipped it then my upbringing would have been upset. If I hadn’t then Sameer would have been upset!
Naina distracts Sameer to bring kerchief for her. She switches the cups. Naina takes a sip and pretends that it is bitter. Sameer tells her it happens in the beginning. He takes a sip of his coffee and finds it bitter but does not tell her.
Voiceover – Sameer:
People often forget everything in their inebriated state but I remembered every bit! I had a great thing along with drinking Brandy – Naina’s cheating!
Naina and Sameer finish their coffee. He pours some more for them and this time adds brandy in her cup. She pretends to be inebriated. He tells her to have some. You will then tell me yourself that Brandy isn’t alcohol. She sneezes again. He goes to bring kerchief for her. She switches the cups again. He picks the kerchief kept next to Naina and gives her. They finish their remaining coffee. Sameer finds his coffee bitter yet again.
