Naina reads Preeti’s letter that she is loving Mumbai and settling well there. She also saw Sachin and Amitabh’s houses and will take Sameer, Naina when they visit her in Mumbai. Her mother-in-law is also very nice. After Naina finishes reading, Sameer tells her that they will visit Mumbai. Rakesh taunts to first earn money, then spend it. He suggests Sameer to start something new instead doing struggle with current business. He advices to go to Kanpur and Arjun will give him some job. Chachaji agrees that Sameer should do a job. Sameer makes excuse and walks away.
Later, Arjun comes to him and asks him not to come to Kanpur. Rakesh has misunderstanding that Arjun is living a very happy life. Truth is he’s living there as a ghar-jamai (staying at wife’s home).
Later, Rakesh tells Sameer to get his and Naina’s tickets for Kanpur. Sameer says he won’t go. Rakesh asks how he will keep Naina happy. Sameer says he knows how to keep her happy. He asks Naina to leave from there. Rakesh says that is why he was against their marriage. He knew Sameer can never achieve anything. Sameer tells Rakesh that he started caring about Naina now, but he (Sameer) has cared for her since beginning. Sameer takes Naina’s hand and they leave.
Sameer destroys boutique in anger, but Naina keeps calm and cools his anger down by hugging him. Sameer says Rakesh is right that he’s a zero. He couldn’t keep her happy. He will close this boutique and he will become an insurance agent. He falls down in mess he created. He looks at Naina and both laugh. Naina says destiny doesn’t want him to become an insurance agent.
Other side, Rakesh is angry as Sameer is not listening to his advice. He tells Chachaji to make him understand.
Sameer and Naina set up boutique again. Sameer is sad. Naina assures him that everything will be fine. He should not feel bad about what Rakesh said. He says today Rakesh said, tomorrow whole world will say. She says she is sure their boutique will work. He asks her to say truthfully. She says they don’t have any other option. He suggests to go to Delhi and he will learn business from his step dad. He will talk to his mom about it. She asks him to say truthfully whether he really wants to do that. He says they don’t have any option.
They pass their time by playing board game. Sameer falls asleep. Naina prays to the God to do something, so that they don’t have to go to Delhi. She knows Sameer is doing all this just for her.
Female narrator says she gets very happy thinking about that day as God listened to her prayer.
In morning, Sameer brings tea for Naina. Instead waking her up, he sees her sleeping and smiles. He then kisses her on forehead which wakes her up. She gets surprised as he made tea for her. They drink tea from same cup.
Someone rings the doorbell. Naina opens the door. It’s an assistant of a famous actor-director. Naina quickly calls Sameer there. The guy says he is from Bombay and they are doing a shoot there and he heard there is swimming pool in Sameer’s bunglow. He asks whether they can shoot a scene there.
