Naina informs she got writer intern job. Sameer gets surprised. He asks since when she started writing as a job. She says she was sitting free at home, so why not. He says that’s okay but how she will travel in city like Mumbai. She says she will manage. He feels guilty for making her do all this instead fulfilling his promise of keeping her always happy. Rakesh tells Sameer that Naina married him, promised to support him in good and bad times. And there is nothing wrong in working. He informs even he has decided to teach society kids. He goes to put poster on bulletin board. Sameer asks Naina she will quit her studies? She says she will do both. It will be difficult, but when she returns home in evening and sees his smiling face, all her tiredness will go away. Sameer says it’s
Female narrator says, at that time, some parents were very supportive while some were very restricting nature. She was lucky to have parents like chacha-chachi and Rakesh who supported her in her decisions.
Next morning, Naina is getting ready. Sameer is packing her lunch box. Rakesh tells Naina that he will make his tea himself, she can go to work. Sameer and Naina get surprised. Sameer wishes Naina best and offers her yogurt/sugar. Rakesh sees and turns his face away. Naina stops him and asks him to feed her along with Sameer. Sameer then tells Naina to be careful and shares his recent incident. Naina pulls his leg saying she wouldn’t have minded. He gets serious. She says she was just joking, she knows he would not do anything wrong.
Naina reaches her work place. Female narrator says first day at work is very special and she remembers every small detail about her first day.
She is sitting and waiting to get some work. Suddenly her boss comes and scolds her for not putting script on his desk. She says it’s her first day. He asks what she wrote since morning. She says nothing. He says they didn’t hire her for sitting idle. She says receptionist told her that someone will come and teach her work. He says no one teaches there, they have to work on their own. He lectures her more. She starts crying. Her boss attacks more saying he can’t even scold her? He asks her to leave that tears home and show him some professional attitude next time. She nods.
Sameer is waiting outside their building. As soon as Naina comes, he tells her they are going to a restaurant to celebrate her first day. Naina recalls scolding of her boss and is quiet. He asks what happened?
He brings her home and tells Rakesh that she won’t go to work from tomorrow. He can’t see anyone behaving like that with her. Rakesh says if you want to become something, then you have to hear little bit. In end, he’s her Guru. He gives example of him scolding them in school, but it was for their good. They also learned a lot from him. Sameer says they didn’t really learn much from him and they all were very bothered by him. He reveals some incidents that Rakesh wasn’t aware about like purposely not letting him come to bus so that he doesn’t spoil their trip. They have funny moment.
Adiya is getting scolded by his father. Sameer and family go to check. Aditya’s father throws him out of the house. Sameer asks what happened. Aditya’s father says him to be quiet, only because of his lie, Aditya learned to lie to him. Aditya says he can’t quit acting. His father tells him to leave them then. He can sleep on footpath. He closes his door. Sameer tells Aditya he can stay in his home.
Sameer, Naina, Rakesh try to cheer up Adtiya and tell everything will be fine.
