Sameer dials a number but the call is disconnected. Naina assures him she will understand.

Naina and Sameer come to meet Anand and Bela. Anand heads inside without a word. Bela looks at Naina and Sameer’s sullen faces. Naina smiles a little for Bela’s sake but is sad from inside.

Naina calls Bela.

Voiceover – Naina:
Chacha ji was the key to our lock of Bombay. We tried to pacify Chacha ji in every way but he wasn’t even willing to listen to us. It was important as Papa could agree only after Chacha ji agrees.

Anand receives a call in the middle of the night. He has a small convo and then ends the call.

Sameer stands in front of a particular shelf. Naina asks him what he is doing. He shrugs with a big smile on his face. She tries to send him downstairs. He understands her plan and tries to stop her from opening the cupboard but she finds the anklets that he has brought for her. You ruined my surprise! This anklet will tell me about your every movement. She hugs him. Why do you love me so much? He smiles. She asks him why he got this. He reminds her that it is Karvachauth tomorrow. She gets excited hearing it. Chacha ji and Chachi ji will come over for puja. He nods. We will pacify Chacha ji tomorrow at any cost. Naina smiles.

Few ladies wish Happy Karvachauth to Naina. Bela wonders when her husband will come. Naina says he will come but when will the moon come. Bela says moon comes out late on Karvachauth. She guides Naina on the ritual. You have to touch Sameer’s feet too. Naina is hesitant but Bela explains to her that Sameer is her husband now.

Voiceover – Sameer:
I never liked it that women have to touch men’s feet at any point of time but that day was special as I wanted to mess with Naina a little!

Sameer teases Naina. You have to tocuh my feet! I dint know I will get this lucky after wedding. She tells him it wont happen. He asks her what if Chachi ji asks him about it. She speaks of their love journey. Why will I touch your feet suddenly after marriage? You will understand it right? Chachi ji is old fashioned but you aren’t. I will bend till your knees and you will stop me from bending further. You will say that we are equal. He thinks for a moment and then nods. He asks her to sit next to him and tries to kiss her but she tells him it is her fast. Bela calls out to Naina as the moon has come. Naina takes Sameer with her.

Voiceover – Sameer:
Wives generally pray for the long lives of their husbands on Karvachauth but I was only praying that Chacha ji says yes to our plan of going to Bombay. That was more important back then rather than our long life!

All the couples do puja. Sameer feeds water to Naina. Bela tells Anand that they look so nice together. She gestures Naina to touch Sameer’s feet. Sameer does not stop Naina midway as planned. She ends up pinching Sameer on his feet. Sameer shouts but Naina jokes that an ant bit him. Naina glares at Sameer once everyone goes inside.

Bela and Anand call out to Naina and Sameer. Sameer comes there wearing a mask and speaks Dev Anand’s dialogue. Naina follows suit and speaks a dialogue cover her face with Amitabh’s mask. Bela and Anand look at them. Sameer and Naina continue their act. They request Anand to agree. We will succeed. We have to take bigger risk to grow in life. We have never done anything without your nod and wont do it ever! Please say yes. Bela nods at Anand who finally relents. I have never stopped you guys from going ahead and neither will I do that. Sameer will go to Bombay alone. Naina will run boutique here. None of us know anything about film industry. Go there and understand the workings of the industry. Find out everything about it. None of the heroes took their wives along. They made their own mark in the industry first. Follow suit and then take Naina with you. Naina tries to object but Anand stays firm on his condition. We accept your condition if you accept mine.

Voiceover – Sameer:
Chacha ji was right but my mind wasn’t ready to listen to it. I managed long distance relation somehow but I couldn’t imagine having a long distance marriage.

Sameer refuses to go alone. I cannot live without you. She asks him if he is afraid to live alone. He says I am afraid of living without you. I know that I fight with you and get upset but it does not mean that! You are my life. I cannot live without you! She says I love you to him. Chacha ji has agreed after much difficulty and now Papa is also on our side. Now you are saying that you cannot live without me! He asks her if she can stay without him. Tumse Juda Hokar plays in the background as he gets up. She holds his hand and looks at him emotionally. She hugs him. He stops himself from hugging her back. I cannot live without you. She says the same to him. We have to become each other’s strength right now. We will write letters and talk on phone daily. I can pay any price to make you a hero. Naina and Sameer look at each other.

Next morning, Munna tells Naina to add red chilli in Sameer’s food. Sameer asks him if he does not remember he likes less spicy food. Munna and Pundit call it punishment. How dare you leave without Bhabhi and us? Sameer replies that this is the only way out now. I know that you both want to lead me so I don’t get exhausted but now I want to do it all on my own.

Voiceover – Sameer:
My friends and Naina wanted to help me like always but I said no so I could fight my battle on my own.

Sameer and his friends share a group hug while Naina looks on.

Precap: Mama ji tells Sameer when he will return tired to Ahmedabad, stand quietly in front of me. I will understand everything!
