Scene 1:
Location: Hospital
As the doctors work on suvi, kartik and khushi arrive distraught and apalled. they cry and pray incessantly. a doctor comes out and they hurriedly ask how is she and if she shall get better soon. the doctor asks if there is anyone else elderly along with them. khushi responds that its just them, and says that she can handle whatever it is, and asks her if survi shall be okay soon. the doctor says that she is very brave and adds that her mother’s condition is very serious and critical. then they go to meet survi, who is barely able to open her eyes. she holds them from both side of the bed. he tells her that tai has been caught by the police. he is tensed when she isnt able to speak because of the mask. khushi asks her to get well, as she shall keep

them together and always take care of them both. he too says that he wont bother her, but asks her to get well soon. she takes off her mask and has trouble breathing. in that only, khushi is instructed by her, to take care of him in her absence. khushi asks her not to speak so, as she would be fine and nothing would happen to her. survi makes her promise saying that now this responsibility is on her shoulders only, since she needs to handle it. khushi is apalled. kartik caresses her face, while she holds his hand with hers. she remembers all their intimate and romantic moments spent together. they cry uncontrollably. he then asks her to speak up. she turns to khushi and says that they were tied by a promise, and now bound by a new promise, khushi needs to take this ahead. she takes off the ganesha bracelet from her hands and ties it on khushi’s hands, while she stands distraught, remembering her moments with survi. survi eyes them both emotionally, and then gives khushi’s hand in kartik’s. she asks khushi to promise that she shall always take care of her father, and not let any trouble befall him. khushi eyes her through tears and then complies. survi starts flatlining and then dies off, as her hands fall limp. they are aghast and in a dazed state of shock and despair.

Scene 2:
Location: Crematorium
Kartik performs the final rites of survi, as she dies a wedded woman, while khushi too sadly watches, as they both remember their moments together with survi. they both burn away her pyre, as she leaves for heaven.

SOME DAYS LATER

Scene 3:
Location: KArtik’s residence
As promised, in survi’s absence, khushi takes care of kartik, while he too complies with khushi. a voice calls for khushi, and she rushes to find that its the lawyer, who apologises saying that he tried everything, but nothing could be done, and they have to vacate the house. khushi is shocked. khushi asks howcome as this property belongs to kartik. the lawyer says that it used to, but now it does to tai, as she was the written caretaker on behalf of kartik, and she wishes to sell it off, and has the court’s permission too for the same. khushi asks how is this possible, as tai is in jail, and she killed everyone. the lawyer complies, and says that only tai can have the rightful heir to this property, as kartik isnt mentally sane, while she is a minor. he says that they have merely few hours, to vacate the house, as after that, they have to lock up the property. she is apalled and distraught, as she prays to the lord, and then tells kartik, when he asks what happened. she explains everything, while he is baffled that its his house. she reminds her promise to survi, that she shall take care of him. she assures the same to the lord too, while he sits boggled. she then takes her mother’s picture, and holds kartik’s hand, and giving it a good look one last time, they start walking out of it, and finally leave. khushi is apalled as the doors are slammed shut on their faces. the screen freezes on her face.

Precap: 15 YEARS LATER, People pray at the temple, and joining them is a young girl, who prays devoutly too. its khushi, who is an exact replica of survi, by face and personality. At the same time, a brash young boy is shown to be dressing up too, with much attitude. The same girl in the disco is walking listlessly, when a boy comes and holds her hand from behind. she turns around and is exactly like survi. the boy watches her tensedly.
