It’s the blessing time for actor Karan Pahwa as he has become a father of a baby boy. The actor’s wife delivered in the morning in his hometown, Kurukshetra (Haryana). The actor tied the knot with Supriya Rajmitra, a vlogger, in March 2019. And how he has welcomed his bundle of joy.
Sharing his happiness with Etimes, he says, “I am on cloud nine. It’s the most amazing feeling…a feeling that can’t be described. I never knew I would ever cry in this situation. Holding my baby in my arms was surreal and there is no feeling better than that. I was super excited and also concerned about my wife, who was in the labour for eight hours. By God’s grace, my wife and our boy are absolutely fine.”
The couple is yet to zero in on a name for the newborn. Karan says, “We will decide according to the rashi alphabet. I guess it will take a few more days, as we are currently enjoying the moment (smiles).”
Karan was on a break from his show Ali Baba Dastaan-e-Kabul as he was spending the last few days of her pregnancy with her. A gorgeous maternity shoot was also taken care of during his time off work.
Karan plans to return to Mumbai soon. He says, “Very soon. I guess once the naming ceremony is done, I will return to Mumbai and will resume work. Supriya will stay back for some time. I am going to miss both till they come to Mumbai.”
