Yukti Kapoor talks about Maddam Sir going off-air; says, “Every good thing comes to an end”
The popular show Maddam Sir starring Yukti Kapoor and Gulki Joshi is all set to go off-air. Yukti, who essays the character of SI Karishma Singh in the show, isn’t upset with the show wrapping up. The actress is happy that the show is ending on a good note.
In a recent interview, Yukti talked about it and shared, “We had a really good run but every single thing in the world has a life span and so has the show. And it’s good when things end on a good note. I also feel that it’s not good to stretch a rubber band so far that it loses its elasticity. So, I believe that we are ending at the right time.”
She added, “I have mixed emotions. But I truly believe that every single thing has to come to a good end. We ran the course of our beloved show with grace. I feel proud and happy to have been part of a story that touched the hearts of the viewers. I am taking back a lot of memories with me from this show. I have explored spaces I didn’t even know existed in me and that’s going to help me a lot in my future endeavors.”
Yukti also shared that she will miss all the characters of Maddam Sir. The actress said, “The people that played those characters are always going to be there. I know that they’re all just a call away. But the characters? that’s going to be difficult not to miss out.”
“I am looking forward to doing more interesting projects like this and keeping my fans entertained,” she concluded.
