Zaan Khan on TV show ‘Meri Saas Bhoot Hai’ coming to an end
Zaan Khan, who recently joined the cast of the TV show ‘Meri Saas Bhoot Hai,’ has expressed his lack of surprise regarding the show’s upcoming conclusion. The series is set to bid farewell to its viewers in the second week of July. Zaan, understanding the nature of the industry, sees the show’s conclusion as a regular occurrence in the business.
The actor talked about it in a recent interview and shared, “I was glad to be offered a character that was very different from my previous roles. It was a new love interest for Gaura. Although it’s disappointing that the show is wrapping up next month, it’s not an unusual situation. In the TV industry, you never know when a show might go off the air or come to an end within weeks or months. I was informed that my character would last for a month, so I was prepared to give it my best.”
Aspiring to explore opportunities in films, Zaan also expresses his desire to focus on movies. He states, “I want to venture into the world of cinema as well. On TV, I prefer roles that have a shorter duration so that I can pursue film projects too.”
Zaan has been a part of various TV shows such as ‘Maitree,’ ‘Vanshaj,’ and ‘Kyun Uthe Dil Chod Aye.’ The actor appreciates the opportunity to portray diverse roles in recent months. Regarding his role in ‘Meri Saas Bhoot Hai,’ he adds, “It was a lighter and less stressful role compared to my previous ones. I am currently shooting for the show. It will be disappointing if it wraps up next month since it was a good role and offered something different for me.”
