Renowned casting director Ronak Singh, credited for casting in popular TV shows like Kaisi Hai Yeh Yaariyan, Udaariyan, Khichdi, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Crime Petrol, and blockbuster films like Shadi Mein Zarur Aana, has officially confirmed the inclusion of Parth Samthan and Yeh Hai Chahatein fame Sargun Kaur Luthra in the upcoming Zee TV show tentatively titled ‘Society Wala Love.’ The show is being produced by the esteemed Swastik Production House.
Sharing exclusive insights into the casting process, Ronak revealed, “Casting for television shows has become increasingly challenging. Providing 10 to 15 options for both male and female roles is the norm, and from there, the makers shortlist 4 to 5 actors. Coordinating dates and availability with these shortlisted actors adds another layer to the process. Sometimes, during this period, artists may get selected for other projects, making it a tedious job.”
He continued, “Speaking specifically about our upcoming show on Zee TV, the makers were keen on faces with a significant presence on social media and among the masses. We have been in touch with actors like Shubhangi Joshi, Ashnoor Kaur, Avika Gor, Parth Samthan, among others, for various characters in our show. The final cast is expected to be announced in the coming days as we have now locked in our selections.”
